4th September - At Home
Our usual social evening plus quarterly raffle draw. There may also be a brief members’ update and feedback meeting and we shall look at our Diary Planner for the 4th Quarter of this year.
11th September - 25th March & 1992 Quiz Night
GMT was founded on 25th March 1992. Philip questions us on events that took place on the 25th March, (any year), and events that took place in 1992.
18th September - Chill, Chat & Cook Something Up
You are invited to bring along and share with us some of your favourite ‘grub’. Food you have made at home or got a friend to.
25th September - Film Night: ‘Freak Show’
A dare to be different film starring Alex Lowther as teenager Billy Bloom – a ’fabulous, glitter-bedecked, gender fluid teenager’ who dares to confront with his ‘razor-sharp wit’ and ‘outrageous, anything-goes sense of fashion’ not just his straight-laced father but the bullies at his’ ultra-conservative high school’.
2nd October - At Home
Our usual social evening where members catch up and chat over tea and coffee etc. There may also be a brief members' update.
9th October - Who Does this Belong to?
You are invited to take photos of up to 3 items/objects in your home and send them to Simon who will show them and invite other members to guess who they belong to.
16th October - Talking Therapies
We welcome Nathan Heron of Talking Therapies, Gateshead, who tells us about the service and his role in it as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and an LGBTQIA+ Champion.
23rd October - Beetle Drive
Once again we play what has become a firm favourite. Philip leads in the fun and games.
30th October - Film Night: ‘The Ghost of St Michael’s’
Watch a Will Hay film and you know you are in for chaos and bedlam. This film, set in war time Britain, in a school which is located in a remote castle in Scotland, is no exception. According to legend it is haunted and whoever hears the ghostly bagpipes comes to a grisly end.

13th November - Phil’s Fill of Funnies Night
Philip presents a mixed bag of his favourite comedy sketches.
20th November - Christmas Decorations Workshop
Simon steers us through whatever imaginative designs we come up with to make our
Christmas Party more colourful.
27th November - Film Night: ‘Connie and Carla’
Connie & Carla’s careers in show business are going nowhere fast. After witnessing a crime they are forced to go on the run to keep their true identities a secret. By accident they stumble into a drag show and by using deception, their careers take off. Now the real ‘fun’ begins. Starring Nia Vardalos and Toni Collette with David Duchovny and special guest: Debbie Reynolds.

11th December - Film Night: ‘Scrooge’
We are going to watch the much loved version of Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’
starring Alastair Sim as Scrooge. As if that wasn’t treat enough, we are going to have mince pies as well.

Celebrate the festive season with us. Details nearer the time.
