9th September  -  Where is It?

Newcastle is a treasure trove of architecture and artefacts, yet so many of these gems go unnoticed in our daily lives.  Join Alan for a fun and interactive picture round quiz when he will challenge us to identify local landmarks and hidden details from 3 possible answers. An opportunity to celebrate and enjoy Newcastle City’s rich heritage.

16th September  -  Favourite Songs Night

We are invited to share a couple of our favourite songs.

23rd September  -  Photographic Memories

Looking forwards to our our 35th year we delve into our archives as well as take a look at more recent events.

30th September  -  Call My Bluff

We re-visit our own version of this once popular TV game.  Philip hosts.      

OCTOBER 2026

7th October  -  At Home

Our usual social evening where members catch up and chat over tea and coffee etc.  There may also be a brief members' update.

14th October  -  Halloween Masks Workshop

With Simon’s help we make masks for our Halloween Party.   

21st October  -  Film Night:  ‘Entertaining Mr Sloane’

We watch the film version of Joe Orton’s wickedly funny play starring Beryl Reid, Harry Andrews & Peter McEnery.

28th October  -  Halloween Party

Wearing our masks and with food and games we celebrate Halloween.

NOVEMBER 2026

4th November  -  At Home

Our usual social evening.  There may be a brief members'  update and feedback meeting.

11th November  -  Death and Bereavement

Nathan guides us through a discussion on this most difficult time in our lives, encourages us to share our experiences as gay and bi sexual men as well as alerting us to the help and support that is available to us. 

18th November  -  Photographic Memories         

Looking forward to our 35^th Birthday we get a sense of our long history by looking at photos from the early days.

25th November  -  Christmas Party Hats Workshop

We welcome Megan back who helps us make our very own Christmas Party hats.

December 2026

Our usual social evening.  We will also look at the Diary Planner for the 1^st Quarter of 2027 and there may also be a brief members update and feedback meeting.

9th December  -  Christmases Past

With Simon we will be viewing footage from YouTube of how Christmas was spent in decades past from the 1950s to the early 2000’s and sharing our own memories.  Mince pies and mulled wine will be served on the evening.

16th December  -  Christmas Party

Celebrate the festive season with us.  Details nearer the time.

23rd December  -  CLOSED for Christmas.

30th December  -  CLOSED for New Year.
