9th April - “Oh I Know It but What is it?”
Quiz Master Patrick presents us with: “Four rounds of musical madness of notable nostalgia. Particles of pop music, tantalising TV themes, clueless classical & frustrating film music.”
16th April - What’s On Your Mind
We write down our ideas for a discussion, put them in a bag and wait for Carl to draw them out.
23rd April - Games Evening
Dominoes, card games, board games, it’s your choice. If you have other preferences, bring them along.
30th April - Classic Comedy Film: ‘Trouble in Store’
This, the first of Norman Wisdom’s films, takes us back to the days when the Big Store was King of the High Street and as the title tells us, there is plenty of ‘trouble’ in this particular store. Also starring: Jerry Desmonde, Moira Lister, Lana Morris & Joan Sims. Look out for the delightfully dotty brief cameo with Esma Cannon. It is the ever priceless & one and only Margaret Rutherford, though, who steals the show.

14th May - Discussion Evening: ‘Stereotyping’
Why do we stereotype? How do we feel as gay and bisexual men being targetted in this way? How guilty are we of targetting other groups in the LGBTIA plus community plus wider society in general? These questions and more Derek invites us to discuss.
21st May - Scrabble Competition
Philip hastens us through this fast moving competition as we play three games against the clock – where at the end there are prizes for the winners.
28th May - Best Man Speeches, Wedding Stories and Fantasies
Simon invites us to write a Best Man speech for a fantasy wedding, share our memories of real life weddings and to dare to tell our fantasies/dreams of the ideal wedding.
4th June - At Home
Our usual social evening. We also look at our Diary Planner for the 3rd Quarter of 2025 and may also have a brief members’ update and feedback meeting.
11th June - Meal Out

18th June - Cultural Exchange
Across a rang of topics, we compare and contrast how we go about the various aspects of our daily lives.
25th June - Mostly Multi-choice Quiz
Derek tests our knowledge on a range of subjects with mostly multi-choice questions.
