3rd September - At Home
Our usual social evening. There may also be a brief members’ update and feedback meeting and we shall look at our Diary Planner for the 4th Quarter of this year.
10th September - Card Bingo
Simon introduces and hosts a variation of the ever popular game and there are prizes for the winners.
17th September - Laurel & Hardy Night
Derek shares with us some of his favourite Laurel & Hardy shorts both from the silent era and talkies.
24th September - Discussion Evening: ‘Gay Loneliness is Rotten’
Nathan, together with us, looks at the impact of loneliness and how we deal with it as LGBTQIA plus people.
OCTOBER 2025
1st October - At Home
Our usual social evening where members catch up and chat over tea and coffee etc. There may also be a brief members' update.
8th October - Potting for Christmas
Simon helps us to design our own pots and plant a bulb for Christmas.
15th October - Photographic Memories
We look back at photographs of events taken earlier in the year.
22nd October - Games Evening
Dominoes, card games, board games, it’s your choice. If you have other preferences, bring them along.
29th October - Film Night: ‘Hocus Pocus’
Three Outlandishly wild witches played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy return from 17th Century Salem for ‘a night of zany fun and comic chaos’ and it being our Halloween celebration, Philip will provide pumpkin soup and perhaps cheesy jacket potatoes.
NOVEMBER 2025
5th November - At Home
Our usual social evening. There may be a brief members' update and feedback meeting.
12th November - Who Does This Belong To?
You are invited to take photos of up to 3 items/objects in your home and send them to Simon who will show them and invite other members to guess who they belong to.
19th November - An Evening with the Golden Girls
Blanche, Dorothy, Rose and Sophia – The Golden Girls. A perennial favourite with many a gay man and Nathan is no exception. He shares some of his favourite episodes with us.
26th November - Stories in the Bag
We all have stories waiting to be told and this evening we pick stories out of a bag and share them.
DECEMBER 2025

Our usual social evening. We will also look at the Diary Planner for the 1st Quarter of 2026 and there may also be a brief members update and feedback meeting.
10th December - Film Night: ‘A Christmas Carol’
The Walt Disney version of this famous seasonal story starring Jim Carrey in multiple roles including that of Scrooge.
17th December - Christmas Party
Celebrate the festive season with us. Details nearer the time.
24th December - CLOSED for Christmas.
31st December - CLOSED for New Year
