JULY

7 July  -  At Home

Our usual social evening where members catch up and chat over tea & coffee etc.  We will also look at the diary for the 3rd quarter of the year.

 

14 July  -  Coronavirus MEMES and Other Funnies

An evening in which John invites us to share the funnies that have brought a laugh and helped us cope with the current situation.                

    

21 July  -  Bingo Night   

Brian and Steven call out the numbers and there will be prizes.   

    

28 July  -  Steven’s Comedy Favourites

Steven presents two of his favourite TV comedy series.

AUGUST

4 August  -  At Home

Our usual social evening where members catch up and chat over tea & coffee etc.  We also introduce our monthly raffle.

 

11 August  -  Call My Bluff           

Philip revives our own version of the once popular TV panel game. 

 

18 August  -  The Gay Gardener              

Alan presents a bit of history of allotments and what he has been up to on his own plot.

 

25 August  -  ABM

Our Annual Big Meeting in which we review our 9th year as a collective, renew our commitment to GMT and hold elections to the Duty Membership.  We also have a bit of a party.

SEPTEMBER

1 September  -  At Home

Our usual social evening plus monthly raffle. We will also look at our Diary Planner for the 4th Quarter of this year.

 

8 September  -  What's On Your Mind?

We write down our ideas for a discussion, put them in a bag and wait for them to be drawn out.

 

15 September  -  Mixed Bag Quiz        

Derek hosts a variety of questions on various topics in a variety of ways.

 

22 September  -  ‘Queer Folk Tales’   

We share readings from this delightful book by Kevin Walker.

  

29 September  -  Desert Island Choice

Derek hosts and asks which book, piece of music and luxury item would you choose to take with you if you were stranded on the mythical island.
