4th September -  At Home

Our usual social evening plus Diary Planner for the 4th quarter of 2019. We will also be finding out who are the lucky winners of our Entrance Fee Draw

 

11th September -  Photography Evening

John M. explores hints and tricks to get better photographs, and an opportunity to bring your own photographs (printed or jpeg) that you'd like to share with the group.

 

18th September -  Film Night: 'Picnic at Hanging Rock'

A mysterious and disturbing story. John B. presents one of Australia's best known films from the 1970s.

 

25th September -  Pop Music Quiz

Kevin tests us on how good we are at answering questions on pop music.

OCTOBER

 

2nd October -  At Home

Our usual social evening where members catch up and chat over tea & coffee etc. There may be a brief Members' Meeting and we will also find out who are the lucky winners of the Entrance Fee Draw.

 

9th October -  Words, Sayings and Slang of the World

Another surprise evening from Ian in what he calls a 'fun presentation'.

 

16th October -  Gay Theme Evening

Poetry, prose and a radio play presented by Derek.

 

23rd October -  Getting Help and Making New Friends

John M. facilitates an exploration of the various LGBT / LGBT friendly options open to us if we need help, support or just want to widen our social group. Bring with you your knowledge and experience of LGBT services and groups.

 

30th October -  Film Night: 'Carry on Screaming'

Whilst nibbling on popcorn and/or crisps, laugh Halloween away with this popular and well-loved Hammer Horror spoof.

NOVEMBER

6th November -  At Home

Our usual social evening which may include a brief Members' Meeting. We will be also finding out who are the lucky winners of our Entrance Fee Draw.

 

13th November -  British Sign Language

Another evening in which Kay coaches us in some basic and useful everyday B.S.L.

 

20th November -  Games Evening

Members are invited to bring along their favourite board games. Dominoes, scrabble and chess are provided.

 

27th November -  Songs from the Shows

Derek invites you to bring along your favourite songs from your favourite musicals.

DECEMBER

4th December -  At Home

11th December -  Film Night: '101 Dalmations'

In this season of goodwill, tap into the child in you with this perennial Walt Disney favourite. Mince & other fruit pies will also be on the menu.

 

18th December -  Christmas Party

Celebrate the festive season with us. Details nearer the time.
